We were delighted to present our poster on Yoga in Systemic SLE: Preliminary Results of a Pragmatic Trial at the CAN (Canadian Arthritis Network) conference in Quebec City.

This randomized control study assessed the feasibility of a yoga program adapted for persons with SLE.
The results have not yet been released, but we can say that many patients that experienced the program enjoyed and saw the benefits of integrating yoga into their lives. The program was designed specifically for this patient population, taking into account the special needs of people living with lupus.

I practice yoga daily, and can't say enough about the benefits, body and mind.

Thanks to Medical Student William S. Lao for doing an excellent job representing our poster, which was very well received.

Special thanks to Carolyn Neville for spearheading the trial, and being so committed to improving the lives of people with lupus through yoga and so many other avenues.

We appreciate the support of Lupus Canada.

Stay tuned for the results!
